5 March,2008 Praise the Lord! My husband died recently (June 2007) leaving me with 8 children and only one of them is married. The youngest is still schooling. So you can guess how distressed I was. Coping with my loss and the responsibility of caring for a large family without my husbands income weighed heavily on me and I was falling ill very often. But I had to carry on for the sake of my dear children. Recently, I was introduced to the Wednesday prayer meetings. Last week was my 7th day of coming here. My family and I have been blessed. I have begun to relax and let God take over my plight. So my illness has reduced greatly. Last week when the Blessed Sacrament was exposed, we were told to ask Jesus for our personal needs……….. A miracle did happen then! Normally I would rattle on a list of my needs and wants to Jesus. But I was amazed when I just kept on saying, “Thank You Lord for everything,” over and over again. I was so content, just being in the presence of Jesus, that I did not need anything. Yes, I had everything when I was in the presence of Jesus. Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord!

Recently, I was introduced to the Wednesday prayer meetings. Last week was my 7th day of coming here. My family and I have been blessed. I have begun to relax and let God take over my plight. So my illness has reduced greatly.
