I started coming to the Wednesday Prayer meeting a little under two years ago. One of my friends brought me to St. Peter's , as I was undergoing severe stress, mainly due to a project that I was handling that had run into some problems with no solution in sight.

At that very first meeting there was a word of knowledge, that the Lord was touching a person who had come for the very first time and that his problems will be overcome. I thought that it was meant for me. After going back home that night I felt different. First of all I was set free from a sinful habit, a habit that I have never indulged in since that day. As time passed by, I was cured of an ear ailment, which I had for over two decades, which all the ENT specialists in Colombo and at least one foreign specialist could not cure. The project that was in trouble took a remarkable turnaround and was successfully completed.

I continued to come for the prayer meetings and read the daily reflection in “On Our Knees, In His Hands”. I prayed the four steps daily. The illnesses and problems my family and I faced are gradually disappearing. I believe that nothing is impossible to God, if you place your trust in Him.
